I have GOOD kids.

That one rule says it best:

Parenting is not easy. Well, in the beginning, maybe it is. Depends who you ask, I guess. Once they start to walk and talk it gets a little tricky. My boys are 'good' kids. Other kids think they are fun to be around. Adults are respected. God has a place in their hearts.

I have to think that my husband and I have had something to do with this. We have made a consistent effort to mold them into the young men they are becoming. It hasn't been easy but it has sure been worth it! I love my boys.

That picture is a favorite of mine. It was a few years ago, but the memories made that day were just as fun as the picture itself. No more baby wipes and sippy cups, we have moved far away from that land. Now we have bat bags and cleats laying around the house. There are so many proud mommy moments lately that I can really just brag on them all day long. However, there are times when they know exactly which buttons to push. I just have to remember that you get out of parenting what you put into it.

After all, there are people out there like this.
